How do you think Serbia will play?
I expect a lot of goals and three open games, since Serbia’s style of play is attacking. Also, our potential in the goalkeeper position is amazing, so I hope to see some incredible displays from whoever plays in goal.

How is the mood in the camp?
The mood is really great. I am spending a lot of time in the team hotel, and the gym is next to the media centre so every day I am listening to a lot of Serbian music and jokes are rolling. The players are focused, but also are enjoying their time together.2

How are you feeling ahead of the game?
Super excited! For the last EURO that Serbia was part of, I was just five and don’t have any memories of it, so this will be my first ever Serbian EURO match.1

Nothing less than a win. There’s a lot of expectation on this England team and a win will help ease the pressure. Southgate has always managed to win the opening game in tournaments, so I have faith in him.14

I’ve always thought that the key to success with England teams is to play fast and forward. They need to be brave, not in a physical sense, but in terms of seeing the forward pass early and trusting it. That way, they’ll get Serbia panicking on the turn.10

I’ve been following England all my life, so my excitement is tempered with degree of nervousness due to prior experiences, but aside from that I’m confident. I believe in the boys.
