Red Door Gin delivers signature notes of juniper and bitter orange peel, with a unique selection of locally-inspired botanicals; pearls of heather, common on Scottish hillsides, rowan berries, found in local wooded areas, and sea buckthorn, growing wild in Scotland’s coastal areas.

Bottled at 45%, Red Door Gin is perfect served in our signature Red Door G&T garnished with fresh raspberries, or as the base to one of our classic cocktails.

Carefully selected for a full-bodied flavour, Red Door Gin balances five core gin botanicals with the deliciously distinctive flavours of three botanicals inspired by the local landscape.

Locally-inspired botanicals

Our unique selection of three locally-inspired botanicals includes, pearls of heather, common on Scottish hillsides, rowan berries, found in local wooded areas, and sea buckthorn, growing wild in Scotland’s coastal areas.

Classic gin botanicals

Our five, classic gin botanicals (juniper berries, lemon peel, bitter orange peel, coriander seed and angelica root) create the base to a London Dry Gin with a complex palate and a lusciously long finish.

Our seasonal-edition autumn gin will coat your mouth with the mellow fruitfulness of Scottish blackberries, complemented by the signature notes from our classic gin.

Inspired by autumnal walks through local Scottish woodlands, along hedgerows laden with blackberries, our seasonal-edition autumnal gin is rich and rounded with the sweetness of wild Scottish blackberries (along with it’s leaves) and fresh mists of fragrant pine needles.

Bottled at 45%, Red Door Gin with Autumnal Botanicals is perfect served in a G&T garnished with fine slices of fresh green apple, or as the base to a classic Bramble cocktail.

Our autumnal edition incorporates mellow, fruity notes of wild Scottish blackberries which complement the fruity freshness of juniper berries. Subtly menthol notes of pine needles accentuate the fruity freshness of juniper berries. Red Door Gin with Autumnal Botanicals has a rich, rounded fruity finish with the lingering sweetness of Scottish blackberries.

Our limited-edition Red Door Gin with Winter Botanicals combines festive flavours like allspice and sultanas with the signature notes from our classic gin, such as sea buckthorn.

From warm citrus notes to the richness of Christmas cake, our winter botanicals have been carefully selected and harmonised to capture flavours and aromas reminiscent of winter.

Bottled at 45%, Red Door Gin with Winter Botanicals is perfect served in a Winter G&T garnished with a slice of blood orange, or as the base to a deliciously, spicy aromatic punch.

Defined by our signature note of punchy, piney juniper berries, our seasonal edition incorporates zesty blood orange with hints of slightly sharp Scottish raspberries. Fresh, lemony hop blossom contrasts with the rich, rounded fruity flavour of sultanas, providing a delicious depth of festive flavour. Red Door Gin with Winter Botanicals is silky-smooth on the finish with a lingering warmth of allspice.

Our seasonal-edition summer gin will delight your palate with the fruity freshness of raspberry and rose, complemented by the signature notes from our classic gin.

From bright aromatic Bergamot to the sweetness of Scottish raspberry, our summer botanicals have been carefully selected and harmonised to create a deliciously crisp, dry gin, perfect to enjoy on a warm summer’s evening.

Bottled at 45%, Red Door Gin with Summer Botanicals is perfect served in a G&T garnished with fresh raspberries, or as the base to a refreshing gin spritz.

Defined by our signature note of fresh, fragrant juniper berries, our Summer Botanicals edition incorporates beautifully bright floral flavours of crisp bergamot and subtly sweet rose petals. Contrasting notes of earthy angelica root and herbaceous holy thistle add a delicious depth and complexity. Red Door Gin with Summer Botanicals has a soft, fruity finish with the lingering sweetness of Scottish raspberries.

Every delicious drop of Red Door Gin is crafted in our handmade copper pot still, Peggy.

Using a special vapour infusion distillation method, Peggy steams the neutral base spirit through our basket of botanicals for a more delicate, delectable gin. The slow nature of the vapour infusion ensures that the individual characteristics of our botanicals are not lost during distillation, resulting in a beautifully balanced gin.

Affectionately named after Peggy Urquhart, wife of George Urquhart from the second generation of the family owners of Gordon and MacPhail, Peggy is our pride and joy here at Red Door Gin.
