Reading is a town, unitary authority and district in the English region of South East England in the ceremonial county of Berkshire with a population of 163,000 (est. mid-2018). The area is 40 km².
History of Reading.
The decisive encounter between the efforts of King James II and those of his son-in-law William III of Orange took place at Reading on December 19, 1688. Orange’s victory meant that London was open to him, although he would wait another ten days outside the capital until the king fled.
On June 21, 2020, an attack with terrorist intent took place in the city. A 25-year-old suspect of Libyan descent stabbed three people to death in Forbury Gardens park.

Deceptive in blushing pink, this single-shot, award-winning artisan gin has been layered with fresh hand peeled orange zest and tart English rhubarb to create an elegant and refreshing gin.
The depth of the delicate flavours are best appreciated by serving with ice, premium tonic and orange peel but if a hint of sweetness is desired, ginger ale also makes a glorious summer companion.
Henley Gin Rhubarb & Orange was awarded the Masters Medal in the pink gin category at the Gin Masters Awards 2021 – the highest accolade possible.

“Quality-wise, this was leaps and bounds above the rest. It combines so many pink and dark fruit sensations, cassis on the nose, confected raspberry, jammy rhubarb on the palate – but all balanced. Pink gin can sometimes be a bit nondescript but this offered so much – lovely complexity.”

Distilled in ‘Daisy’, one of our four 300l copper alembic stills, our Gingerbread Gin is the very definition of a limited edition as Jacob has only made one batch of 420 bottles and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Tasting notes: Warming, mouth-filling and inviting. Initial sweetness of cinnamon and a hint of zesty orange gives way to a tempting firey ginger which lingers deep into the finish.
