Our Journey
We began our pursuit of Single Malt Scotch Whisky perfection in 2020, laying down our first cask in February of that year. We are a distillery with big ambitions.
Our distillery is still growing and we are in the process of building our own on-site maltings facility. Our exceptional new make spirit is currently produced using locally malted Scottish grown barley while our own barley is growing in the fields of Jackton Estate. We are on the path to providing you with a true seed to spirit experience.
February 12th…
The 12th of February 2020 marked the date when our RAER team filled our first cask that began our Single Malt Scotch Whisky journey here at Jackton Distillery. We have worked extensively to source the highest quality casks from all over the world in which to mature our new make spirit which will become our malt whisky. The spirit is then given the luxury of time to soak up the richness and the flavours of the liquid previously held within the oak cask. While we wait patiently for our ‘Water of Life’ to mature, our passionate, talented team are creating further exciting additions to our growing range of world-class spirits.

These are unique bottles of Scottish spirits of incomparable aromas, aged in barrels from the Royal Forest of Chambord.
The partnership between RAER Alliance and the Domaine National de Chambord strengthens a two centuries-old bond and shared love of exceptional products.
The bottle majestically symbolises The Auld Alliance, signed more than 700 years ago between the Kingdoms of Scotland and France.

RAER Handcrafted Jackton Gin *Single Batch*
A fine balance of pepper, fruity and juniper notes.
Named after the village in which it is produced, Jackton Gin is expertly handcrafted in small batches using nine select botanicals and pure Scottish water. Rich essential oils extracted from juniper berries during distillation form the earthy, piney base of our gin. A delicious combination of sweet mango and sea buckthorn delivers a fruity tang, and the warming pink peppercorns leave a tingle on your tongue.

Fresh: Our distillers recommend pairing our national and international award-winning RAER Gin with a refreshingly light fizzy tonic, garnished with a slice of orange and a couple of fresh basil leaves.

A proper pink gin for grown-ups with juicy raspberry, strawberry, rosehip, delicate rose petals and a hint of citrus. A rich botanical gin with a little winter warmth.
Something Blue Gin 70cl

Originally created as a limited-edition release to celebrate the nuptials of THE Mr & Mrs McLean, Something Blue has now been added to the core range. Something Blue focuses on Colin and Jess’ favourite botanicals; the Tonka Bean and the Buchu Leaf. Hints of summer fruits, mint, caramel and hand-rolled tobacco leaf, supported by a fresh herbaceous background.
Watch dusky blue fade to blush pink as you pour your toast, distinctive and delicately balanced.

Where to find us
Located in the Scottish Lowlands in the village of Jackton, you can visit the Wee Distillery Shop at Jackton Distillery on Hayhill Road, G74 5AN. Our RAER Spirits team are on hand to welcome you and serve tasty free samples on-site to those of you who have yet to try our delicious spirits! We also have a lovely selection of handcrafted gifts, glassware and clothing.
Whilst Jackton Distillery itself is a working distillery and not currently open to the public, you can sign up for our newsletter to be kept informed of special opening dates, events and new spirit releases. We look forward to welcoming you to join us on our exciting journey.
