A unique London Dry Gin made using hand-picked botanicals, including spicy cubeb berries from Indonesia, cardamom and Tellicherry black pepper from India and coriander from Morocco.

The heritage of OPIHR Spices of the Orient Gin is firmly rooted in the ancient Spice Route. Traditionally merchants would travel thousands of miles along the route, trading exotic spices and botanicals from distant lands.

OPIHR Spices of the Orient Gin is crafted with a selection of exotic hand-picked botanicals, carefully chosen by OPIHR’s Master Distiller, including spicy Cubeb berries from Indonesia, Black Pepper from India and Coriander from Morocco.

The botanicals in Opihr Gin make the journey to their final destination, the oldest distillery in England, where quality gin has been traditionally distilled, using the same London Dry Gin method, since 1761. Here the botanicals are married with fine English spirit to produce an exotic oriental spiced gin.

ABV: 40%

This intense, exotic spiced gin exudes the character of the Orient, incorporating hand-picked botanicals from along the Ancient Spice Route.

Aroma: A rich and robust gin with a smooth perfume and sharp bursts of citrus. Key notes of cumin and cardamom provide a warm, earthy background balanced with grapefruit peel.

Taste: Soft camphor, some sweetness and Oriental spices create a warm mouth feel that lingers but does not increase intensity.

The unmistakable taste of OPIHR Spiced Gin, perfectly balanced with discernible bitter notes of cascarilla bark and fragrant myrrh to create a truly unique and aromatic flavour profile.

The European Edition blends fragrant myrrh and the distinct aromatic bitterness of cascarilla bark.

Inspired by Venice’s 500+ year rich spice trade history and the Italian love affair with cascarilla bark used to create highly aromatic tonics, bitters and vermouths. This is a bold, savoury-led spiced London Dry gin with balanced bitter notes and mixes perfectly with sweet vermouth and Campari to create a spiced twist on a classic Negroni cocktail.

While cascarilla bark is not native to Europe, it is present in any bitter liqueurs in the south of the continent and adds an aromatic and fragrant twist to OPIHR’s flavour profile.

ABV: 43%

Aroma: A bold savoury-led gin with balanced burnt orange and bitter notes. It has smooth notes with mature rounded citrus and earthy finish.

Taste: A smooth, rounded London Dry Gin; soft camphor balanced with sweet, smoky wood notes and a clean finish.

The unmistakable taste of OPIHR Spiced Gin elevated through the marriage of citrus and spice, with powerful bursts of black lemons, heightened by the rich citrus flavour of timut peppers.

This is a richly intense citrus and spice-led gin with concentrated lemon notes. Inspired by the Iranian love for black lemons, or ‘loomi’ (actually sun-dried limes), which add a unique tangy and earthy flavour to

Middle Eastern chutneys and stews. Black lemons play a central part in Persian cooking thanks to their sweet citrus flavour and the lack of bitters that other lemons bring – due to the drying process which is similar to sundried tomatoes – and gives the lemons their curious colour.

The powerful bursts of black lemons are heightened further by the zesty citrus flavours of Timut peppers, making the Arabian Edition a carefully crafted and perfectly balanced London Dry gin, elevated through the marriage of citrus and spice.

ABV: 40%

Aroma: A richly intense Arabian citrus and spice-led gin. It has smooth soft perfume notes from our fundamental juniper core, but balanced with concentrated citrus notes of Black Lemons, and Timut peppers.

Taste: A smooth, rounded London Dry Gin; soft camphor, bursts of rich citrus notes with light sweetness, creating the perfect marriage of citrus and spice.

The unmistakable taste of OPIHR Spiced Gin enhanced by the warming flavours of Szechuan pepper and smoky ajwain notes, combined for an authentically unique flavour combination.

As we look at the Far East and the beginning of the Spice Route, one of the key flavour profiles of the region is ‘heat and spice’. A naturally perfect fit for OPIHR gin, this pushes the boundaries of spiced gin even further and adds an authentic element found only in Asian cuisine.

The Far East Edition is inspired by the use of unique, fragrant and mouth-numbing Szechuan peppers (the seed husks of Chinese ash trees), traditionally used in staple dishes, such as hot pots and the main ingredient in five spice.

An unmistakeably bold, intense and richly spiced London Dry gin with flavours from the Far East – the smoky notes of Szechuan Pepper delivers a lingering warmth, that along with invigorating spices, creates an exceptional flavour combination.

ABV: 43%

Aroma: A bold, intense and richly spiced gin from the Far East. It has invigorating warm spice notes of Szechuan peppers and a background of lemony thyme and lavender notes.

Taste: A very smooth, rounded London Dry Gin with rich pungent spices that creates an intense, warm mouth feel.
