Inspired by the fruity, distinct flavours of the classic Eccles cake, our Wonky Duck Old Tom gin is bursting with notes of warm tangy currants and orange zest.
Complemented by comforting spice, with hints of cinnamon and cassia, and the subtle sweetness of local natural honey, it’s perfect for sipping or in your favourite cocktail.

OUR STORY
No. 186 Gin is a family business, run by husband and wife team, Matt and Lynsey. The spirit is named after and served in their bar in Manchester City Centre, founded with their friends/business partners, One Eight Six.
Their gin journey began in 2013 when Matt was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and had to reduce his sugar intake. One thing they did was swap their regular tipples for gin. Not just any gin though, they became passionate about premium craft gin, sampling unique drops from the UK and beyond.
After years spent tasting, comparing and studying how the best gins are made, they decided to create their very own – something premium and using locally sourced ingredients.
And after lots of testing and tweaking, their perfect No. 186 premium gin was created. Crafted from the highest quality local ingredients, sustainable practices and nothing else. And best of all, it contains no added sugar, meaning Matt (and everyone else) can enjoy the gin experience, without worrying about sugar levels.
Following the popularity of the gin throughout Manchester, their home town of Lytham St Annes and local surrounding areas, Matt and Lynsey, along with the team behind One Eight Six, are excited to now be sharing their creation with gin lovers across the UK – pouring the Spirit of the North into every glass, wherever it’s served.
This premium gin is created thanks to the natural resources available locally, but not everyone is as fortunate. That’s why, for every bottle purchased, 2,000 litres of water is donated to communities in need through the partnership with Water for Kids. This charity aims to preserve and protect the good health of children and communities in the developing world by assisting in the provision of safe drinking water, good sanitation and other public health-related measures.
186 Passionfruit and Vanilla Gin 70cl
The No 186 take on the sensual Pornstar Martini, our fabulously fragrant Passionfruit and Vanilla Gin is crafted with 100% natural ingredients and none of those naughty sugars! The sweet exotic bite and citrus sharpness from the passionfruit blend perfectly with the creamy warmth of the vanilla. Together with hints of the soft spice of cassia and the well-defined ‘herbaceous notes of juniper and camomile, this is a true taste sensation. A taste of the tropics… with true Northern spirit!

A dry gin that is well-rounded and exceptionally smooth. Handcrafted using local ingredients and bursting with citrus and grapefruit flavours for refreshment that packs a punch. Balancing juniper, citrus and herbaceous notes with hints of soft spice.

Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Grapefruit, Cardamon, Rosemary, Thyme, Lemon, Lime and Cassia.

100% North west produced Barley and Wheat Spirit.

A premium small batch gin, lovingly created using locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices. Packed with raspberries, vanilla and natural honey, balanced with citrus and juniper notes. Beautifully smooth and naturally sweet, with a spirit of the north in every glass.
