FROM GRAIN TO GLASS
A true product of its place of birth, Great Glen balances the sweet herbal honeysuckle notes of Scottish heather with the subtle tartness of Red Sorrel and the aromatic pine tones of Frankincense. Elevated by the purity of our own base spirit, this complex and rewarding gin has deep, lasting flavours that stay with you like the tales that transcend generations. Pull up a chair, pour a glass and start your own story.
Our distillery couldn’t be located in a more dramatic and awe-inspiring place. Beneath our feet lies the Great Glen fault line, 62 miles long and the creator of the highest peak in the British Isles, Ben Nevis, a humbling 4413 ft. And just north from us is Abriachan, the village where the legendary ‘King of smugglers’ Donald Fraser distilled gallons of fine, duty-free whisky, prized for its unusual purity of the water. These geographical marvels and enchanting tales define our culture and make their way into every drop of our gin.

A battle over who has the smallest distillery in Scotland has begun.
For the man who has built Scotland’s newest – and said to be smallest – gin maker right next to Loch Ness is demanding the title in an area more associated with monster claims.
Currently Edradour in Perthshire says on its website that it is “the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland and arguably the most unique”.
But Dan Campbell (34), who has built his gin distillery in his late mother’s old shop at the Loch Ness Experience – where she sold Nessie souvenirs and other goods for years – says his is “much smaller” and is writing to Edradour to claim the title.
“I have been to Edradour and checked its size on Google Maps and we are much, much smaller,” he said.
