Multi-award winning Green Room Distillery was started by two friends from the world of theatre in April 2020.
Our unique, premium small batch spirits include the signature Theatre Dry Gin, Flyman’s Strength Gin, Houselight Dry Gin, aged Encore Sloe Gin, the world’s first peated dry gin, Smoke & Mirrors, and finally the sustainable Revival Vodka. They are all distilled, bottled and finished with a wax seal, ‘behind the scenes’ in London.

THE RANGE
After only a couple of months in production, The Green Room started winning multiple awards… our Theatre Dry Gin has been crowned Winner at The Gin Guide Awards, also winning Silver Medals at the IWSC, ISC, LSC and World Gin Awards. Whilst the Flyman’s Strength Gin was awarded 2 Stars in the Great Taste Awards 2022, alongside the Revival Vodka and Encore Sloe Gin being awarded 1 Star, and most recently receiving Gold at the IWSC with 96 points.
OUR STORY
Multi-awarding winning Green Room Distillery was started in 2020 by two friends from the world of theatre, when Covid hit and stage doors closed.
Duncan has worked as a Video & Projection Designer in theatre and live events for over 20 years, whilst Seb has over 30 years of experience as a Sound Designer.
We are extremely proud to have partnered with the technical entertainment charity, BACKUP Tech. The charity provides financial support to professionals in the entertainment industry who have fallen on hard times, especially in the last few years due to Covid. The Green Room donates £1 from every bottle and drink sold.

Within only a few months of operating, we won a Bronze Medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2021, and in 2022, we have won a Silver at the World Gin Awards, ISC 2022 and London Spirits Competion. and on top of all that, Winner of the Gin Guide Awards, and we couldn’t be prouder!
The distillery is run by two professionals who would usually be working behind the scenes… so we’re keeping it that way when making our spirit.

Green Room Fine Gin Cheer London
Based off Wandsworth Common, we will help you develop your own gin in our 2L copper pot still, Little Angel, matching botanicals to your own flavour profile that suits your pallet, whether it be citrus, floral or herbal. We can also advise on which botanicals to use if you’re unsure.
We will run three test batches to make sure the gin tastes exactly how you’d like. Following this, we’ll distill a full batch in our 100L copper pot still, Florence, before bottling, labelling and finishing with a wax seal, delivering to a location of your choice anywhere in the world.
Crafted for you
The minimum production run results in 40L of 46% ABV Gin. This can be bottled in any combination, for instance; 40 x 500ml bottles to use throughout the day and be kept as a memento, and 200 x 100ml Wedding Favour style bottles. Of course there is no maximum should you require a larger run.
Bespoke flavour
You can design your own label and choose your own wax colour, or alternatively we can design everything for you. We have an extensive range of wax colours, but we can also mix some together to match your day’s colour palette. Alternatively, our wax supplier can make a customised colour wax to your specification.
The process can be completed in less than a month, but we advise at least three months from start to finish.
We will ensure your gin is totally unique to you, pairs with tonic and works perfectly in your favourite cocktail.

We reproduced the smoky peat flavours – beloved the world over in Islay whisky – by gathering peat ourselves from the island itself in the Scottish Hebrides. Depth has been added with clementine leaf, a winter classic, Douglas Fir, pine, and heather, creating a full, well-balanced palate with fragrances redolent of winter.

Our Encore Sloe Gin is made using hand-picked fresh sloes from Babington in Somerset, and Norfolk, combined with our own award-winning Theatre Dry Gin. Using the Solero aging method, we let it steep for at least three months before adding it to our previous years batches. When it comes to bottling, we add just the right amount of homemade sugar syrup for the perfect taste.

This expression is the second release of the collaboration between Green Room and Michelin-Starred restaurant, Trinity, and it recently took Gold at the ISC 2023 and two stars at the Great Taste Awards.
The gin is influenced by the autumnal forager’s basket. We have used fresh fig leaves (with their sharp, grassy, almost cucumber-like scent), floral blackcurrant leaves and vibrant Japanese rosehips. There are notes of crab apples that have been treated at Trinity to create a perfect taste of sweet over sour.
Autumn Gin is best served and perfectly paired with Double Dutch Tonic and a slice of fresh apple.

We have collaborated to bring you something special. We wanted to make something quite particular to Bistro so the bar and kitchen got together and combined their favourite flavours and ingredients and we are very very happy with what we’ve created.
The main notes are citrus, fennel seed and thyme but we’ve got a few surprises for a curious palate too. The idea was to make a versatile gin for a G’n’T, martini, sour or other classic and original cocktails.
Bisto Union Gin is best served and perfectly paired with Double Dutch Tonic and a sprig of thyme.

THE GREEN ROOM is extremely proud to have partnered with the technical entertainment charity, BACKUP.
For every bottle of our gin, vodka or sloe gin that we sell, The Green Room will donate £1 to Backup.
Backup is the UK’s registered charity that provides financial support to industry technical professionals, crew/production personnel and people working in the technical supply chain across the UK entertainment industry including those from live events, theatre, TV and film. Backups’ primary and long running remit is support to those who are seriously ill or injured or to their surviving family members, via a tailored Support Grant.
In light of the devastating impact of COVID-19, Backup has recently created a separate initial Hardship Fund, which will provide limited financial assistance to those most in need – please visit the Backup website for the latest details on status and criteria of the Hardship Fund, as it will be open to applications in phases.
It is only thanks to the support and generous donations from companies and individuals, that Backup is able to help the technical entertainment industry care for its own.
