Exeter is a district with the official title of city, in the shire county of Devon, in south-west England. The population was estimated at 130,000 inhabitants in 2018. The area is 47 km². 16.0% of the population is over 65 years old. Unemployment is 2.6% of the working population.

Meet the stills.

Our Distillery houses our three main stills and also our hand bottling, waxing and labelling area.

Above the Distillery is our new Gin bar and Gin school, dotted around are themed seating areas such as the ‘Grandads allotment’ area where you may notice his portrait and World War II certificate on the wall of his shed whilst you recline in his old arm chair.

DISTILLATION PROCESS

It took so many runs (attempts) and tasting panels to make sure we were happy with the final gins. We decided to go down the traditional route using alembic copper stills using a one shot method to produce a London Dry Gin, keeping us closer to our roots and family history.

EXETER GIN ® LONDON DRY GIN

Exeter Gin® (44% abv) is a multi award winning juniper rich London Dry gin made in a copper still using a number of botanicals which were enjoyed by the Romans many moons ago, including basil, cinnamon, marigold, cardamom and tarragon, along with 11 other traditional gin botanicals.

Available in 70cl and 5cl bottles and 50cl and 5cl pouches.

Ivaar the Boneless is Exeter Gin’s navy strength at 57% abv it enhances the notes and tones of smooth baked Valencia orange and cinnamon. This combined with an intense explosion of rich luxury juniper and tarragon creates a robust yet smooth finish. Made in Devon

Our Process & Botanicals

Starting with a base of grains, juniper berries and water, we add a fusion of local botanicals to create a remarkably-smooth London Dry Gin that is wholly inspired by the place we call home.

Low-temperature vacuum distillation extracts the specific flavour profiles from a selection of fresh fruits and wild herbs, chosen and often foraged by our Head Distiller in Devon, to build distinctive combinations that are perfect for sipping and mixing.

Bespoke Spirits

From weird and whacky flavours from Monster Munch, oyster and doughnut, to a classic strawberry and lime or signature rhubarb and ginger, our creativity knows no bounds.
