OUR STORY
Born in 2010, Edinburgh Gin is distilled in the heart of Scotland’s capital city.
We take inspiration from the wonder-filled city that is our namesake – a captivating city of contrasts and harmony that blends historic tradition with contemporary creativity, city pride with world citizenship, nature and the urban environment.
We began with our Classic, a world class London Dry, which became the foundation for a series of expressions that led the flavoured gin revolution, pushing boundaries and breaking down conventions.
Our gins represent one of the most varied and vibrant range of gins in the world.

Set against the backdrop of the historic Trinity Church, where the roots of botanical exploration were first planted centuries ago, our new distillery at The Arches on East Market Street is poised to become the beating heart of Edinburgh’s gin culture.
Later this year, we invite you to step into a world where tradition meets innovation, where the art of gin-making is celebrated amidst breathtaking views of Edinburgh’s skyline.
Nestled within The Arches, our new distillery will pay homage to Edinburgh’s rich gin heritage. The site’s historical significance, home to one of the original Physic Gardens before it found its permanent residence in the Royal Botanical Gardens, infuses our craft with a sense of reverence for botanical exploration and discovery.
At the core of our new distillery lie three brand-new stills, each a testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. These stills, meticulously designed and expertly engineered, will be the guardians of our time-honoured distillation process, ensuring that every drop of Edinburgh Gin embodies the essence of our city’s spirit.
