Joanne Moore

Joanne Moore, Master Distiller of G&J Distillers, part of the international spirits group Quintessential Brands, is truly a master of her craft. Joanne acts as the custodian of the Quintessential Brands portfolio and brand developer for their new products.

Joanne is one of the first female Gin Master Distillers in the world. She is responsible for the creation of four international gins: BLOOM, Berkeley Square London Dry, Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin and Thomas Dakin Gin and for the distillation of Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin, as well as a number of other brands.

Since 1996, Joanne Moore has worked with G&J Distillers (formerly G&J Greenall’s) beginning as Quality Controller and quickly advancing to Quality Manager. It is within this role that Joanne developed her passion for new product development.

Substance? BLOOM Gin was created by one of the world’s leading authorities on gin, Master Distiller, Joanne Moore, a woman who has won more awards for gin distilling than possibly anyone else on the planet. The things that woman can do with a juniper berry, you wouldn’t believe…

Tell our Master Distiller it can’t be done, and she’ll show you it can. Back in 2009, Joanne was getting sick of people telling her they didn’t like gin, so she thought ‘nuts to that’ (you gotta love a Northerner) and decided to make a gin that even the most ardent juniper hater would like.

Working with only natural ingredients, Joanne created a deliciously light London Dry gin with soft nuances of chamomile, honeysuckle and pomelo, giving BLOOM its signature smoothness, creating a fresh twist on an old favourite. BLOOM has since gone on to make gin lovers of us pretty much everyone who’s tasted it – try it and see for yourself!

BLOOM London Dry was first launched in 2009 as a result of Master Distiller, Joanne Moore’s vision to create a lighter tasting gin for all to enjoy.

Combining the finest natural botanicals, it quickly grew to become a firm favourite among the new gin-eration of drinkers, a sophisticated gin renowned for its purer tasting flavour profiles and its iconic bottle.

It perfectly combines the sweet zing and citrus sharpness of exotic passionfruit with the creamy character of vanilla blossom for a tropical twist on the traditional London Dry Gin. A unique combination of BLOOM London Dry infused with real rose petals and jasmine flowers. This stylish and elegant sip bursts with floral and earthy flavours which are reminiscent of an English summer’s day. An all-natural premium pink gin that encourages you to pink differently.
