Atlas Gins go beyond traditional botanical blends. Drawing on inspiration from recipes and flavours discovered around the world – the blended spices that give chai its welcoming warmth and the fragrant sweetness of Persian Love Cake – we have created a range of gins that appeal to those who love to explore new tastes.

We carefully curate our botanical blends for the perfect balance of flavour. We source and select the finest botanicals, then infuse them for 24 hours so that the flavours are fully released. Our gin is one shot distilled in a copper still, to ensure that it’s silky smooth and that nothing impairs the flavour. It’s not the quickest or easiest way to make gin – but it’s the way we like to do things, after all, it’s an adventure!

The Atlas Gin story begins in Edinburgh where our founder, Paul, discovered his passion for gin. Fascinated by flavours and how adding the perfect mixer added life and depth to the botanicals within good gin; Paul began his own gin journey.

Back home in Lincolnshire, determined to create gins that went beyond the traditional botanical blends, he began to explore new ideas. Drawing inspiration from traditional tastes and flavours from around the world – the blended spices that give chai tea its welcoming warmth and the fragrant sweetness of Persian Love Cake – Paul created a range of gins designed to appeal to those who love to explore new tastes and ideas.

Atlas Chai Gin is a winner, if there was ever a gin that was suited to me this is it! I get loads of gorgeous cardamom with a little sweetness from the cinnamon and warming spices and some dryness from the Assam black tea. A truly lovely gin.

Atlas Adventurer

I’ve never had such unique flavoured gin before like Atlas Love Cake Gin – especially in such a beautifully designed bottle. Full of panache and perfect for any gin lover’s drinks trolley.

Atlas Shichimi Gin is simply stunning. The aroma is rich and intriguing, hinting at seaweed and green tea, then the true essence kicks in on the finish; ginger and Sichuan peppercorns. I have tried lots small batch gins over the last year, but this one nailed it for me.

The Gin

Our gold award winning Indian Chai Gin is warming and spicy with distinctive flavours of cinnamon, perfectly balanced so that the heat from the ginger doesn’t overpower the tastebuds.

The Inspiration

The true history of Chai has been lost in time, but ancient folklore suggests that the original version of this warm and welcoming drink has royal roots and was created by a King for his court to enjoy.

Our Chai Gin is inspired by traditional Masala Chai, which is a part of every day life in India. Whilst recipes vary from region to region (and even household to household), we’ve based our blend on the core ingredients used in traditional recipes.

Juniper berries, cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves, pimento berries, ginger, nutmeg, cane sugar & Assam black tea.

Aroma
Juniper notes with cinnamon, green cardamom and subtle clove hints.

Palate
Warm and spicy with a background sweetness from the green cardamom.

Finish
A long finish, with a pleasingly spicy warmth.

The Gin

Our Persian Lovecake gin is smooth, subtly sweet, fragrant and refreshing with a subtle hint of citrus.

The Inspiration

An ancient legend tells of a woman who created a special cake to try to win the heart of a handsome prince. Her romantic offering combined the most prized ingredients, including rose water and sweet pistachios.

Opinion varies as to whether she won the prince’s love, but her legacy lives on and Persian love cakes are baked to this day. This gin is inspired by both the story and traditional love cake recipes.

Juniper berries, green cardamom, rose water, almonds, pistachios, lemon zest & vanilla beans.

Aroma
Notes of juniper, with hints of almond and pistachio and subtle aromas of rose and vanilla.

Palate
Fresh, yet sweet – a hint of Turkish delight from the rose water gives way to a subtle nutty flavour and a light citrus end.

Finish
A pleasant lasting finish, with hints of rose and almonds.

The Gin

This is a slightly savoury gin with an unusual blend of botanicals that delivers an umami kick, with subtle warmth that’s balanced by the inclusion of green tea. Bold and surprising, this gin goes beyond traditional botanical blends to open up a new world of flavours.

The Inspiration

A gin for those with adventurous tastes, our Shichimi gin is inspired by the traditional Japanese seven-spice blend, which has been at the heart of many Japanese dishes since around the 17th century.

Juniper berries, Sichuan peppercorns, red chili pepper, nori seaweed, poppy seeds, white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, hemp seeds, ground ginger, dried orange peel & gyokuro green tea.

Aroma
Juniper aroma, with hints of green tea and nori seaweed.

Palate
Subtle hints of green tea, nori seaweed and sesame seeds, with a spicy but subtle flavour.

Finish
A long finish with a lasting but gentle heat which is balanced out with a fresh hint of citrus.
